Our Mission

The mission of Mt. Sinai Arts Preparatory Academy is to help students unlock their academic potential and cultivate critical thinking and processing skills through a balanced STEAM curriculum while also integrating Biblical principles, emphasizing both a lifestyle of faith and academic excellence for a lifetime of success and Godly character.

Our Philosophy

At Mt. Sinai Arts Preparatory Academy, we believe that every student is a unique creation of God, endowed with their own set of abilities, talents, and potential. We embrace and celebrate these differences, and recognize that each student has something special to offer to our community. Our philosophy is deeply rooted in Christian values, which guide us in shaping our curriculum, policies, and programs to support the growth and development of every student, addressing the well-being of the whole child rather than just their intellect.

First and foremost, we believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every human being. We recognize that every student comes to us with their background, experiences, and challenges, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students and families are accepted and valued.  Therefore, we believe the following:

  • Every student deserves to be treated with respect, kindness, and compassion, and we expect all members of our community to uphold these values.
  • Every student would benefit from a  challenging STEAM curriculum that will prepare them for success in a world where science, technology, and creativity abound.
  • Every student is able to find their unique path to success. Whether a student excels in the arts, athletics, or other areas, we believe that they should be allowed to pursue their passions and develop their talents to the fullest.
  • Every student should live out their faith through acts of kindness and compassion, and we provide numerous opportunities for them to grow in character, compassion, and humility.

At Mt. Sinai Arts Prep, we believe in the power of faith to guide and inspire us in all that we do. We encourage our students to develop a personal relationship with God, and we provide opportunities for them to worship, pray, and reflect on their faith. We believe that by nurturing their spiritual lives, as well as their intellect, our students will be better equipped to face the challenges of life wisely with strength, resilience, and hope.

Statement of Faith

At Mt. Sinai Arts Preparatory Academy, we understand that people have different interpretations of the Bible’s teachings, so this statement isn’t meant to cover everything, but rather the core beliefs our staff follows in guiding our school policies.

Mt. Sinai Arts Preparatory Academy isn’t affiliated with a specific church; however, we expect our staff, students, and their families to stay true to their church’s teachings. While you don’t have to agree with everything listed here, if you join us, you accept that the following statements are the main beliefs we teach and uphold at our school.

  • We believe in one God, who is the Creator of all things and exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, John 10:30, 37-38).
  • We believe the Bible is directly from God, without error, and guides our faith and actions. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21).
  • We believe in the virgin birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and is now in heaven, advocating on our behalf. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, 7:25, 9:12, Acts 1:11, John 2:11, 11:25, Rev. 19:11-15).
  • We believe salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by our own actions, and that believers have eternal life and security in Him. (John 3:16-19, 5:24, Romans 3:19, Ephesians 2:18-19, Titus 3:5-6).
  • We believe humanity, created in God’s image, has fallen into sin, leading to both physical and spiritual death. (Romans 5:12-21).
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, to eternal life or damnation. (John 5:28-29).
  • We believe God creates each person intentionally and perfectly, with gender determined by biology, not choice. (Psalm 100:3, Genesis 1:27).
  • We believe marriage to be only between a biological man and a biological woman, and reflects the love between Christ and the church. (Matthew 19:5-6, Malachi 2:14).
