UNIFORMS

Why Is A Uniform Required?

All students are required to wear a uniform as designated by Mt. Sinai Arts Prep.  The dress code encourages pride in self, concern for others, and pride in school.  It also promotes a sense of unity and belonging and helps eliminate unnecessary distractions and disruptions to the educational process.  The following elements reference the uniform as stated in our dress code policy.  Clothing that require a logo are available for purchase at the following local retailer:

Polo Shirts

Every student is required to wear a polo shirt with the school logo embroidered on the left side of the chest.

  • Pre-K & K5 students must use a red polo.
  • Grades 1-12 can use either red, black, or green polos.

Pants & Skirts

Every student is required to wear black or khaki chino style pants.  Female students may choose to wear a black or khaki skirt with a minimum length of two inches above the knee.

  • Pre-K & K5 may also use black or khaki shorts.
  • Grades 1-12 must only use pants or skirts (females students).

Shoes

Every student is required to wear solid black shoes with either black or white socks at least ankle length. No-show socks are not permitted.  Shoes may be casual or atheletic in style and they must have black soles.
